Tonight I am wearing a dress I bought at Tonica Vintage a few years ago. It is from the 1930ies, and is made of nude silk chiffon with golden dots. The fabric is very delicate, so a dinner with friends & kids suits it better than a rock n´roll party.
I decided to accessorize with apple green and red nails to add some freshness to it.

It is still Christmas, so it is not too late to enjoy Lana Del Rey´s ”Do I make you feel like Christmas time?”. I think it is from last year, but I discovered it this year. Love it!
I like matte makeup better than makeup with shimmer, and I think Benefit has the best matte powder products. The colours are light and natural, and they are easy to use for contouring and highlighting.
After foundation, I use the Benefit Hoola bronzing powder on forehead and chin to add some colour to the rather plain result I get by foundation only. I use the Dandelion rouge on my cheeks, and finish with a highlighter on the higher parts of my cheekbones (still looking for the perfect one). Perfect products to get the natural look (that we all know is not that natural).
It has been busy days pre Christmas, and I have had a wonderful time celebrating the holidays with my family. I even got some gifts I had on my wish list, which I´ll show later.
I have been looking for a small handbag for a while, a bag that is easy to bring when you only need to carry a minimum of things and want to have your hands free. I stumbled upon this one at Zara a few days before Christmas, and it rooms my mobile phone, my wallet, keys and a lipstick – and not much more. Perfect!
Many bands cannot resist the temptation to cover the monster hit Last Christmas released by Wham! in 1984. Here are two unlikely covers by Florence + The Machine and The XX.
I love both interpretations. You find the original here. Which one is your favourite?
My own wish list always grows while shopping Christmas presents to others, and I fulfil some of the wishes on the fly, I´m afraid. Right now, these items are on my mind.
