Harper rings

Harper ring, Marte Frisnes jewellery

I am weak for jewellery. I always have a long jewellery wish list. Right now these rings are on top of the list, one in each colour.

Marte Frisnes is a Norwegian jewellery designer based in the UK. Her designs are inspired by nature, travelling and vintage jewellery. Visit her webshop if you want to see more of her fantastic work.

Checked silk dress from Topshop Unique

Checked silk dress from Topshop Unique

Yesterday I went to a party in an outfit entirely from my shopping spree in London a few weeks ago. The dress caught my attention because of the texture. It is made of silk, and the checked pattern is soft velvet. (And, yes, I really need to do some work in my garden very soon…)

Handbag news

& other stories leather handbag

So I went back to & other stories while in London, and – as foreseen – I found more stuff to bring home. This handbag is one of the findings. I had a classic, anonymous satchel in my hands, but my friend Lise persuaded me to skip practical and boring for this bag. I am so satisfied with it! It is small, yet it rooms a lot. I can use it as crossover or regular handbag, and using it is like carrying a jewel. Great buy it is.

Street art by Alicè Pasquini

I walked by these fantastic pieces near Oslo central station yesterday, and captured them on Instagram. (Thanks to smart phones it is now possible to perpetuate inspiring impressions not only in our hearts…)  Boy with sunglasses - streetart

Woman with cigarette - street art

Tattooed woman - street art

Another instagrammer added the artist´s name; Alicè Pasquini, an illustrator, set designer and painter from Rome. Her work is amazing! See more on http://www.alicepasquini.com/index.php

Baroque Cowgirl Boots

Lee Oliveira shot these amazing boots on the streets in Sao Paulo at SS 13/14 Fashion Week. I wish I knew who makes them, I think I could be disiplined enough to save up money for those. Anyone know where they come from?

Inspiring London

Last week I was in London working, and I had to stay over the weekend to indulge in, in my opinion, one of the most inspiring cities. My friend and I lived in an apartment in Covent Garden, lent through Airbnb. Very charming, convenient and central when shopping and nightlife is on the agenda.  I mostly strolled around with my camera.

Collectif at Old Spitafield Market

We did some shopping at Old Spitafield Market. And, yes, I bought the pink dress in the window.

Great style, Mister!

Inspiring people. Here represented by this stylish Londoner.

Hope it won´t be long till next time, London!

Rose gold sandals

I am massively into rose gold at the moment. These shiny sandals will not be stacked away in wait for summer. Tomorrow I’ll wear them with socks!
