I have been a fan of the illustrator Esra Røise´s stroke for a long time. A few years back I insisted on commissioning her for a project, and the result was fabulous. Today I finally came around to get one of her prints for my own wall. I picked one that is a little different from the characteristic Esra Røise pictures, I think. I chose it because of the colours, the atmosphere it holds and the fact that it is called Sisters. It will be a perfect gift to my two girls.
So, I have many other favourites, too, like these three: Secrets, Cameraface and Now is the only time I know. If you like them too, you can buy them online in Esra Røises shop.
Even though we still have warm summer days, the summer nights are replaced by Fall temperatures. So transitional dressing is essential these days. I attended a garden party on Saturday, and combined my lace summer dress with chunky socks and boots. I also brought a mohair jacket just in case.

This camera bag in cow leather is high up on my wish list. I would certainly bring my camera around more often in this. From Black Lily.
When I went to the movies with some friends a few days ago, I played with checks. Might have overdone it a little, but I thought I´d give it a try. The jacket and dress has a clean cut without attention-stealing details, so there are not much going on here except the patterns. It worked for me.

I bought this skirt for next to nothing at a flea market this spring. The pattern, the pleats and the length felt so contemporary. I think it is quite elegant, but it is a difficult styling to pull of. The distance between fabulous and frumpy is short with this skirt.

Marks & Spencer might have the most interesting fall campaign this year. Impressive and inspiring women like Grace Coddington, Helen Mirren, Karen Elson and Ellie Goulding shot by Annie Leibovitz in quintessentially English environment. The clothes are not bad, either. Love it!

Chubby sticks make lipstick so much easier! I get much better result with these pencils than with ordinary lipstick. Easy to put on, I can even wear bright red lipstick now. I am testing three different brands at the moment, and I think they all work well.
The one from Nars sticks very well, and when it fades, I dont have these red stained dry lips that I usually get from lipsticks. Clinique´s chubby stick feels like a lip balm and has hydrating qualities. The one from Dior is the one that feels most similar to an ordinary lipstick, and I have to reapply it more often than the two others. Might be because the shade is lighter, of course.
